Trade Decorator LIVE Exhibition: Connecting the Industry and Celebrating Skills

Trade Decorator LIVE 2023, held at the University of Bolton Stadium on June 21st and 22nd, was a groundbreaking event for the Painting & Decorating industry. With a focus on connecting professionals and celebrating their skills, the exhibition brought Trade Decorator’s digital success into a vibrant live environment.

At Trade Decorator LIVE, interactivity was key. Exhibitors showcased their products and services through engaging live demonstrations, while attendees participated in interactive training sessions, seminars, and workshops to acquire new skills. The event’s two-hour live training sessions, led by the event’s Headline sponsor; Repair Care’s timber resin repair, William Smith’s Kitchen wrapping, and Nick Sammut’s Mist-free Spraying, stood out as invaluable learning opportunities.

Attendees were delighted with the incredible goodie bags sponsored by Sia Abrasives, filled with contributions from exhibitors. The event also presented exciting opportunities to win spray machines from Wagner and Airless Pro, training sessions, and thousands of pounds in prizes. Furthermore, the dedicated LIVE Spray Zone, sponsored by Abode Decorating Training Academy, allowed decorators to explore the latest spray machines and products from Wagner and the Resin Mill. The introduction of Spray Granite by the Resin Mill opened up exciting possibilities for decorators.

Visitors shared their enthusiastic opinions about Trade Decorator LIVE. Megan Talbot of Accrington & Rossendale college praised the show as “brilliant” for networking opportunities. Gordon Nicolson of Nicholson Decorators expressed gratitude for the valuable information that would benefit their business. Bev Yates of CLS Property Maintenance found the show “fab,” discovering new products in a friendly atmosphere. Michael McNeill of MCN Painting Contracts Ltd called it a “brilliant” opportunity to connect with suppliers and tradespeople.

Sean Wallis of Sean Wallis Painting & Decorating Services was excited about learning new things and staying in touch with exhibitors for future training. Peter Neafcy of Peter’s Painting Services appreciated the welcoming environment Trade Decorator created. Keith Prince from Bell Group summed up his experience as “fantastic” with a wide array of interesting products.

The show drew visitors from far and wide, including Scotland, Devon, Cornwall, South Wales, and even a dedicated attendee who travelled all the way from Uganda in Africa. This global reach is a testament to the reputation and value Trade Decorator LIVE holds within the industry.

Exhibitors also hailed the event’s success. Ed Lewis from Barrettine praised the show’s bustling atmosphere and the quality of contacts made on their stand. Greta Norke from The Resin Mill highlighted the well-attended nature of the event, the valuable leads generated, and the opportunity to showcase their spray granite product to a wider audience.
