SDF Annual Awards pace is hotting up!

With only a few weeks to go until the SDF Annual Awards, the shortlist has been determined and the Scottish Decorators’ Federation are busy arranging site visits to determine this year’s worthy winners

There has been no shortage of candidates for this year’s event to celebrate the commitment and professionalism of our members and demonstrate pride in our industry. Competition has been fierce from professional decorators and organisations meriting well earned recognition and the Scottish Decorators’ Federation look forward to rewarding talent in the sector.

There have been some truly outstanding entries for “Painting Project of the Year” and “Historic Restoration Project of the Year” and some worthy and inspiring individual entries for “Contracts Manager of the Year” and “Historic Restoration Project Contracts Manager of the Year”. In addition to this we are proud that the popular CITB “Apprentice of the Year” will also be awarded at the event.

Organisers have pulled out the stops to ensure the event exceeds all expectations.  The 2017 Scottish Decorators’ Federation Awards winners will be announced at an annual gala dinner at the Marriott Dalmahoy, Edinburgh on Friday 27th October. It will be a fabulous event attended by nominees, guests and clients from both Painting and decorating companies and manufacturers who will enjoy an evening of awards, networking and entertainment from Studio Live Band.

The awards will be hosted by Scott Wilson Broadcaster, compere and voice of Hearts FC and our panel of Judges and industry experts will be in attendance. Ian Rogers CEO of the Scottish Decorators’ Federations, Scott Wilson compare will be presenting the awards.

Delegates and interested parties who have not yet confirmed their attendance are encouraged to do so  by contacting Linda McKinlay or Neil Rogers at the SDF HQ 01786 448838. Tickets for the evening which includes dinner, the awards ceremony and the dance cost £80.00 per ticket

The SDF would welcome enquiries for any companies who are interested in sponsoring an award. This would include the award being presented by and in the name of the sponsoring company and will include promotion on the SDF website and Facebook page with photography and in the review in Decorating Matters magazine following the event.
